Project Improve – The Beginning

I liked the idea of Project Improve the moment I saw it. I was anxious to start and even sorted the fabrics for my quilt….

It was many months ago and I have not started the big quilt – fabrics sorted mid January… I had some really exciting things to do instead so I am happy, but still looking forward to make the big quilt.

And here is what I have done – the two block I sent  Jacquie long ago. I forgot to show them here. I was determined to use only scissors and tear or cut free hand. It was fun. And I like the graphic look of them. I have not seen the quilt they have gone into and I am curious. All the blocks I saw on Flickr are fantastic!

In the meantime I managed to make a small improvisational quilt and I will show it here soon.
