Studio Equipment Questions…

I moved my studio this summer. It is not quite ready yet. I have a sewing table – which is a table I use to place my sewing machine and it will remain like this for awhile. I have a trusty cabinet with acceptable height to use for all the cutting… But I really need a big working table to cut, prepare patterns and manipulate big fabric pieces.

Do you have one and do you find a narrow one more comfortable to use? Any work table tips are welcome!

I was sandwiching a quilt today on the floor and realized I might be just OK with a meter depth for my work table to be… It would be important break through if correct.. I wonder if it is now…

The big problem is the height actually. I am not tall at all but according ergonomics my table is expected to be approx. 1m high and I can easily buy either a kitchen isle or legs 10cm less, but not 1m legs…
