Binding on!

Just a few minutes before it’s officially all sewn and ready for its first wash. It has a long и long story – took me months to complete.

I made it in little lovely sessions spaced quite generously… It was hard to space them – found working on this one fantastic… I first waited for batting, then for backing, had to make some things in between…. Followed some strange but exciting dilemma solving pattern, you can read about here.

Attracted the binding this Friday in a hot, hot day with almost unbearable humidity and a tropical shower…

It needs some thread clipping, label and wash and will start looking for a baby to hug it.
