June has always been one of my favorite months. The month with the longest day, most beautiful flowers and and lots of fresh greens around deserves it for sure.
And it starts with a great kids celebration - the Child’s Day - June 1st!
I have never checked where it is celebrated. It is in Bulgaria. And it is a big day for all the mischievous little marvels waiting for their gifts and surprises. It is a great excuse to buy a toy you would like to play with for a child too. And yes, you are entitled to play with the child then and be at least as happy as the child is.
I had no chance to make a fancy little gift, I did not even pack the gift. We went to a shop and left the most important person of the day pick the present. But it was more than very well received.
A holiday is a great way to start a month. Especially if it is one of your favorite ;).

I love June too! In fact as the days get closer to July I feel a bit sad- June is such a lovely month— I just want it to keep going.
When I was a child, & discovered Children’s Day, I asked my Mom why we don’t celebrate it– her reply, “Honey, everyday is children’s day.” She’s an awesome Mom & in our house that was the reality.
