I got it!
I knew it traveled a lot to me and back and I made a rough estimation - 2 weeks to arrive.

I have just replied to an e-mail form my kind swap mama – Tanaya. She let me know that my partner sent me the quilt she made for me long ago but it was returned by the customs. Seems very strange, isn’t it?
But it is a chocolate thing actually – my parner sent me some extra goodies, including chocolate. It was the chocolate, that customs /it should be post office, I think/ did not like.
The good thing is she will resend today. That means I will get it soon. And I really want to touch the quilt. She was so kind to ask my great swap mama, let me know. The not so good thing is my partner had some unexpected problems and had to put additional time, energy and money sending me the quilt. I was looking for a wedding gift idea for dear friends’ wedding, when I saw RhubarbPatch’s entry for the Doll Quilt Swap 4.
I liked it soo much I had to make one.
I did so, but since it is a wedding quilt and it is quite big, I had enough blank space to place some wishes to the couple on it.
Thank you RhubarbPatch, for being my inspiration!

This is something I made just before finishing my Doll Quilt Swap quilt.
It was a present for a special family friend.
I have made several of this table runners and I love the way this simple pattern turns into a soft crinkled beauty. I like simple designs, not too complicated or ornamental.
The centre of this one is ornamental actually, but in a very soft way as it is only light and shadow, crinkles and puckering that create the ornament.
Well, I think I will make more of these pretty soon. I really love the soft effect of ecru and fresh airy solids with traditional quilting motive. It seems I am in a soft colours period now. I will show you the wedding quilt I made in August. Soft colours…well, not exactly this kind of softness.

Освен куилта, заниманията ми с машинна бродерия са доста ограничени в последно време, но от няколко месеца току започвам, току оставям да отлежават две подложки за чаши.
Започнах ги на шега. Изпробвах няколко конеца на парчета плат и няколко месеца след пробата реших да станат бродирани подложки.
Надявам се скоро да са готови и да ги покажа.
До тогава ето последната бродерия, за която се сещам в момента /червените елитри, розовата главица и бледо зеления тумбак са апликация/.

Пролетно, Великденско, празнично, бурно и слънчево беше времето тези дни.
Измито и искрящо в заслепяващата светлина на още тъмното небе.
