I am going through some health issues lately with high temperature and sore throat/ few days after injuring my foot/. I had to change my plans and stay calm and stay at home.

This was not the desired Wednesday schedule, but I had to. So I used the opportunity to do some computer work. I spent a few hours working for the new web crafting place we prepare now.

It was a cloudy day, so I was not able to take the photos I would like to show you - the great doll quilt I received from Pink Trees. So… here is the hat I started some time ago. I will start it over tonight, as it turned too wide, although I followed all the instructions of the pattern.

Few days ago I asked you for some help as I need your opinion on my latest idea - an online crafting community.

We started the project the day after I asked you. It is in its very begging.  But it s visible and we work on filling it with all the features we thought of.

Any ideas regarding what you would  or would not like to see there will be most appreciated and we will make our best to make them come true.

I started crafting as a kid, chose to make crafting full time activity few years ago, opened a tiny online boutique this spring. I am now brainstorming something new and absolutely exciting! An online meeting and trading place for craft people - place artisans from Bulgaria and from around the world could meet Bulgarian and international customers and artisans from Bulgaria and around the globe. What do you think?

Would you like to visit a place like this? Meet people? Buy and sell? I have discussed the idea with a IT specialist and we could make the whole thing work in both Bulgarian and English /and even add other languages in the future/. What do you think?

It will be an adventure /and a risky one too/ thus any feedback will be extremely helpful so we could decide whether to jump into it!

I love all the little details that make Christmas and December special. Spices, orange, apple and cinnamon scents, a fruit cake in the oven, red bows and candles, little red  details sparkling almost everywhere, these some of the things that create the Christmas magic.

This is the first Christmas of my online boutique, and its preparation was a bit delayed by some November issues. But I have some holiday-spirited items in it now. And they are made of fabric! Coasters in red ,red+blue and blue, and oven mitts in red & blue.

I do like the paper angels and the other cards that will make it to the shop soon, but nice oven mitts in red make head to the kitchen and bake a cake just because /though I bake only bread regularly for now/. So I am happy I added them to the shop.

PS: A bunch of these will go to the people I love, wrapped for Christmas. I hope they do not read the English posts here!
I actually started sewing these as gifts and them made some more for the boutique.

Well, this is not my desk. But this is the most interesting activity today. The different fabrics, cut and ready to go into the top.

I have several long lists to complete and I am happy this quilt is going on schedule so far. If it is liked by my partner.. than it will be a success. I decided to make something odd and I am anxious to see how it will be accepted. So I have to finish it fast to see.

Today I almost finished the top and I like it. But that is only me. I like this odd, bright and not too stylish bunch of patches! So it is not a surprise to find out I like the top made of them, right?
