Flower Pincushion in Origami Box by Domoshar StudiosI changed some pictures today.

My most hearted item, that was featured on first page last year and on the Stoque /last week!/  – the flower pincushions in origami boxes – needed some better pictures. So I took some and changed the old ones with the new ones. The Stoque feature   – well it is just a link but it is a happy moment too. I think I will write more about this soon LOL March 18th: Edited to add the “more” here.

Well, I think I will change other pictures too. As everything else, taking pictures in great quantities makes you see some room from improvement in the old ones. Yay, it works this way… though it might be terrifying to realize you make 30 pictures of a single object and like 5. You have 5 good so it pays off.  Sure I will not like them pretty soon LOL

These pincushion make the best little gift for a sewing person, I think. So sweet! I am using at least four – one for needles and one for pins, than multiplied by two to make a studio and a home set. You can make one or buy one. Either way I think you will make the recipient happy!

Every time I make the boxes I feel like having tons of them and filling them with all the little treasures one can think of… It is addictive.

Squares Baby Quiit This is a quilt I made some time ago, stored and forget. It is one of the projects that made me love solids and quilts made entirely of solids.
It s design is pretty simple. I was trying to make something as simple as possible. The layout of the patches resembles weaving pattern.

Looking at it now, I see some variations I would love to make. Hopefully this spring!
What I really like about this quilt is that it is modern on one side and amusing print on the other. Just perfect for a modern mom and still providing some characters for the baby to look at.

This quilt made it to the shop.

I am making another baby quilt at the moment. Much more complex than this one.

Christmas Cooking Aids aka Oven Mitts for the Shop Here is the little pile that will go in the shop in a day.

I love the cheerful colours and simple design. Hope they will be loved by someone :) .

Happy Thanksgiving for all my American friends!

Finally managed to get some pictures of these beauties. They are so soft and small.

Sewing them is really addictive!

It is a warm sunny day today. Unlike the cold ones earlier this week. But Christmas is closer every day and I really love this.

Time to make some gifts and really feel the Holiday season. It started here actually. And I am happy it did!

Need to make some extra packaging aids next week. I love the look of crisp paper and fresh labels. I have no woven ones to attach to my creations, so printed ones are my labeling eye candy LOL

It is hot and busy summer here and I had too put my etsy shop on hold for a few weeks – no new listings, no new items, no marketing or any similar activity. It is summer and I have lots of summer things to do – vacation time now.

This was not the original summer etsy plan, but once I was aware I will slow my etsy activities I decided to come back in September… I am now wondering if I could do it earlier… So I will start relisting, staring with this pincushion here, already in the shop,  as a transition to listing new items shortly hopefully.

The little assembly line is almost ready. It is a joke, though I have prepared fabrics and pattern pieces. I try to optimize all the projects stages and manipulation but a true assembly line is not my style. At least I have not felt comfortable with yet. I mean comfortable enough to make a project or two this way… I need to finish every detail and it may require different time or even attitude for different items of similar size, look and use. It usually does.

I really love small pieces of large scale prints – they look abstract.
This is another small and cute bib.

The shape I love, the big print cut unexpectedly not print-wise and the soft fleece.

It is in my shop along the burp cloth and I added a blanket too for a complete set as shown on the lower right picture in the mosaic. yohimbe and zoloft

A new bib – fairy tale dragons and castles in fresh green and bright orange on this extra soft and very cute bib. It is my favorite shape with curvy wide bottom and rounded Velcro closure for easy opening and closing with one hand.

Backed with white extra soft plushy 100% cotton chenille in squares pattern.

I love the little green dragons wearing orange crowns!

It is in my etsy shop. emsam dis

I love all the little details that make Christmas and December special. Spices, orange, apple and cinnamon scents, a fruit cake in the oven, red bows and candles, little red  details sparkling almost everywhere, these some of the things that create the Christmas magic.

This is the first Christmas of my online boutique, and its preparation was a bit delayed by some November issues. But I have some holiday-spirited items in it now. And they are made of fabric! Coasters in red ,red+blue and blue, and oven mitts in red & blue.

I do like the paper angels and the other cards that will make it to the shop soon, but nice oven mitts in red make head to the kitchen and bake a cake just because /though I bake only bread regularly for now/. So I am happy I added them to the shop.

PS: A bunch of these will go to the people I love, wrapped for Christmas. I hope they do not read the English posts here!
I actually started sewing these as gifts and them made some more for the boutique.

You might remember my little give away. It was all made in attempt to bring the holiday season closer.
As it is officially holiday preparation time now, I started stocking my little boutique with Christmas items.

These lovely little angels made it to the online shop a couple of weeks ago. They are double folded iris paper folding cards. All hand made by me and accompanied by ecru envelopes /also hand made by me/.

I will soon add some new designs but this one is one of my favorite so it is the first one to shown in the cards section of the shop.

I am now adding some little fabric/quilted gifts too.
