One Year Blogging!

I started this blog on Feb 5th 2008. I was used to reading blogs but have no idea how to organize and maintain mine and it was a very difficult moment for me and my creations even without this new adventure... I started a wordpress.com blog, and after a few months incorporated it into my own site, I spent some time learning the essentials of blog maintenance and upgrading... It was a long journey on all the technical aspects. But I love and enjoy the creative and social aspects of blogging so much! Thank you for visiting me here, for the comments you have left here and for the inspiration I found on your blogs! I met great people, talented quilters, great mothers and creative women, joined my first swap /followed but more swaps /, organized my first giveaway for my 100th post... joined the first International Stash Busting Giveaway Katy came up with /yes, I think it is one of many/... I opened my online boutique in February 2008 too and I registered an Etsy shop /May 2008/ and I am about to open it pretty soon /it is high time!/... we started a crafting social community online portal a couple of months ago /Dec. 2008/.... Reached 200 posts /2009/....we are about to launch sales on the portal... Isn't it great for a year!? It is time to celebrate! And I will. And will organize a giveaway next week. I have to come up with an idea what to offer first and send the fabrics for the The Great giveaway so stay tuned. PS These fantastic roses were here for my birthday last year. They were lovely so I treated myself with a picture of them today.
