Tissue holders, Card holders and mini purses by DomosharI am happy with this week project. Unlike  the usual style of moderate progress on several projects, I picked a brand new small one to finish this week. It is ready, colourful and in the shop now.

The little pile of tissue holders and business/credit card holders, was unexpectedly joined by some cute little purses.

The tissue holders and the card holders are in  the shop already. Tomorrow the tissue & card folders duo sets will join them.

Stay tuned as the little purses will be free gifts with each set purchase.

Pincushion LoveNew pincushion in Origami Box in the shop.

It is part of the latest spring batch of pincushions.

Love the orange-pink combo!

Have you noticed how bigger it is next to the flower pincushions? It does have presence of its own!

Pincushions make me happy. This might be the reason I always use few simultaneously – one for pins, one for needles, one by the machine, one next to my hand sewing project… plenty of them around…

And I never pin anything to the ones I have made for sale! It is not easy, I know…

Oven MittsThe oven mitts – they seem to be the best selling items of mine on etsy.

I listed some favorite ones as an experiment. I do believe people like what the maker loves. However selling mainly oven mitts was not expected. I love most of my creations after all! LOL

Actually it is not a surprise – they are small, affordable, useful and look nice.

This is the first pair of the simpler design I have on my etsy shop. Nothing fancy, nothing too big or heavy, no complicated design, no modern insulation technologies, no magnets.. nothing but fabric and batting.

Considering new print options for summer…

Fabric Bread Baskets for Spring Spring crafting in the studio just a week before the beginning of spring, resulted in this little pile of bread baskets.

I planned to make more and earlier to add in the shop way before Easter. Well, they are more spring, than Easter items, now.

I love the brights ans pastels mixed together in a simple functional table accessory.

Making more than one thing at a time makes creating even more rewarding. A pile of newly finished projects, even if it a mini pile of three, feels good.

Palm Sunday is coming and I am busy with some preparation for it.

Quilted Patchwork Pincushions by Domoshar StudiosThese lovely little pincushions were added to my etsy shop yesterday.

They have a long history.
They started as a patchwork experiment almost 10 years ago. At this time the fabric was old enough for them to qualify for being made with vintage fabric now.

These little patchwork pieces were carefully stored until earlier this week. When I finally sewed into something and they are now pincushions. All finished, all little threads were clipped and they are waiting for their new owner.

I was not sure if adding them to the shop was the right decision or it was better to keep them. With so many pincushion I am using, I decided to add them to the shop.

IDomoshar featured in the Stroquet was the National Quilting day in the USA yesterday.

It was celebrated with lots of events I suppose. The one I took part in was on etsy.

I was happy to find an item of mine in The Storque again. Yay! Twice this month! Making it in there is not happening every day or with every item so it made me feel happy and lucky.

Unlike the previous time, the item did not sold in the day. Not that it is said any item will be sold after making it in the Storque LOL.

Last, but definitely not least, apart from the being featured vibes, I am happy to have a picture of my quilting process in one of the quilt related articles /same one/. It is along with pictures of talented quilters and this makes me really happy!

Oh, I see I mentioned this already… So you know now, I was really happy to be there in this lovely company! LOL

The day long Quilting Day promotions of the Quiltsy time, me listing new quilted items and promoting, did not result into a sale for me. Still they did bring lots of shop visitor, which is good. Getting hearts and views seems nice result.

I have just listed some other new items today. Going to have a short break and a nice walk in the sun and will show you the new items this evening.

Happy Quilting Day to all my American quilting friends!
As a Quiltsy Team member /on etsy/ I am taking part of this holiday too.

My potholder is waiting for its new owner and the money will go directly to the Quiltsy team and help promote quilting and quilting artists on etsy.

As part of the quilting promotion events a lovely article on The Storque is published. It is packed with information and beautiful quilts!

I have to admit I am happy to see the quilt making process, illustrated in this article by a picture of my quilting in progress. It is an honor to have a picture of mine next to the ones of extremely talented etsians.

I saw an item of mine featured there too. But all this personal feelings will be blogged later.

Its quilting day in the US! If you are quilting – happy quilting!!! If you are not… why not give it a try? It is lovely experience! And it is addictive. Do thrust me.

Featured in The Stroque! My item featured in The Storque!
Yes, I was happy!
And yes, it does bring views up significantly!

Poor me noticed the view increase but had not checked for featuring until 3 days after the happy post…

The item got sold a day after. This is one of the moment you think etsy staff is right to advice, stocking more than one item in every listing is good. LOL So I relisted.

This is my first time being featured on The Storque.

I /my item!/was on first page for the first time a year ago. No second of either yet. But I do believe there will be some more.

Some of our friends have little babies, some are expecting. So I am making little gifts for them and decided to add some bibs and burp cloths in my shop. I am planning more soon too.

I really love how soft they are and the fact they have almost minimalistic design but some detail too. I have not sold anything for babies in my shop yet – one sail and not a baby one/. I hope some of these will be the start.

Wish me good luck!
