Sunday Stash
Have not bought fabrics for clothes for more than 2 years. Then I bought these flowers for a dress for myself …

Thought  it will be a simple one, but dreaming of another pattern now…

This is what I made yesterday. It is a kitchen towel for a kid.

It was a last minute idea. It is not a complicated one so it was ready on time. Love the orange “drop” that makes an almost boring stripe smile. I bought this stripe for a tote and it never made it to become one. Maybe this summer.

I feel like making tons of towels but need to focus on some sewing I have started already. Lots of holidays in the next weeks and I am not quite prepared yet. So much to do, so little time with all the other not so crafty jobs to do…

Sunday Stash 6 - DragonsSunday Stash
This is one of my favorite kid fabrics! It is fresh and clean, lots of white, some fresh green and cheerful orange make it the perfect fabric in my opinion!

It is Bulgarian fabric. Pure cotton, medium weight – can be used for cloths or quilts, but will make bedding projects sing too.

I like the cuteness and the simple style of it.

Here are the prints I enjoyed last week. I print my own prints from time to time. It is fun. It is interesting and it is very useful too as fabric supply is good here, but quilting fabrics and prints are hard to find.

Another reason for which I really love printing is the fact it involves lots of experiments and playing around ideas and techniques. It si quite time /and energy/ consuming but it totally worths the effort.

You know what the funniest part is? I have not used these yet. LOL

It is not perfect, but it has almost the perfect style for me in early December.

I definitely think about some more in January.

The picture does not show it quite right. The white is not so dominant in real life. I suppose it has something to do with the pigments transparency and taking pictures of white object. I have to master this.

Yesterday was a very busy day, and the actual crafting happened late in the evening. So I will share my new fabric obsession today. These prints make me smile.

I played with this set of fabric pieces figuring out what to use them for. I have not decided what to make with them yet. These are just part of the samples and I have too many ideas for them.

This is an evening picture again. And I have just noticed the bright thread that was photographed there, but I will keep  – it absolutely authentic with the thread.
