I started a new quilt yesterday! It is a simple log cabin in Improv style. I really enjoyed making it so far. Look at it! Here is how it appeared today strip by strip. The first picture below shows yesterday's progress. It went so fast today! I pinned the blocks on my board. It is not a design wall but served as one today... It is intentionally two part quilt - two different types of blocks - orange and red centers. They will not be arranged like this though, nor they will look like this when finished... I  had an assistant and this made the piecing more interesting. You can see the next colours to be added to this blocks below. Picked by my talented assistant of course! In a week of showers and a day of even more showers, this felt just lovely! Looking forward to sewing more tomorrow.
