Cushions, cushions everywhere.. no single place to pin...

I am feeling this way if I happen to have less than 3 "my" pincushions around... Funny enough but so true - I love pincushions, I have a lot usually near me - making batches of dozens for the shop and gifts. And I never, ever pin a needle or pin in a pincushion that is not for me to use it myself. Being part of the lovely Scrappy Pincushion Swap, I made another one this month. I hope it will be soon liked after it safely reaches its owner. And got the picushion bug again... I had a look at the pictures of pincushions I have here and played a little making a mosaic or two... Here is the first - mini and normal-sized piles of pincushions... cheerful little pumpkins in a gloomy autumn day.

Pincushions for Spring!

New pincushions. Part of the Softies Invasion group. Making them is great fun, taking pictures is an added bonus - so cheerful together! Making some new plans for them, I am not quite sure about yet... Love the way they look together! Planning some new pictures too - it is great fun. I made this in not really good light.... So here they are anyway - ordered, mixed, random.  With a giant Perle cotton ball, with the origami box I sent them in... just impulsive pictures made a few minutes after completing them and testing if the bigger ones still fit in the standard box I use.

Etsy: Taking care of my shop

Media_httpfarm3static_ssxix
It is hot and busy summer here and I had too put my etsy shop on hold for a few weeks - no new listings, no new items, no marketing or any similar activity. It is summer and I have lots of summer things to do - vacation time now. This was not the original summer etsy plan, but once I was aware I will slow my etsy activities I decided to come back in September... I am now wondering if I could do it earlier... So I will start relisting, staring with this pincushion here, already in the shop,  as a transition to listing new items shortly hopefully. The little assembly line is almost ready. It is a joke, though I have prepared fabrics and pattern pieces. I try to optimize all the projects stages and manipulation but a true assembly line is not my style. At least I have not felt comfortable with yet. I mean comfortable enough to make a project or two this way... I need to finish every detail and it may require different time or even attitude for different items of similar size, look and use. It usually does.
