Swaps Update: 3 Lovely Packages Received Here

Media_httpdomosharcom_bryeb
I sent 3 packages in December. And I got 3 lovely packages in the mail. I had no chance to take proper pictures. I will try to make some in a few days. I got some fabrics in two swaps and one of them will be mailed to the sender after I make her a quilt from what she sent me... I see now, I never wrote about this swap: "Mini quilt in a bag". I will write a post soon with the fabric I got in the email. All the fabrics look and feel great. I also got a Christmas present as part of the Secret Santa Christmas Swap, Chookyblue hosted. I knew nothing about this swap when I realized great part of the crafted beauties I see on the web have someting to do with it.... So I waited and signed up.

Swaps: SSCS Received in US

It was not an easy decision what to send to someone I do not know. I read and kept reading the blog. Still I did not find too many clues... So I choose something useful, something red for Christmas, something blue to make it appropriate for every season, something Bulgarian and something crafty to play with. Seemed like a good present recipe... Karen likes it, so it was! Thank you Chookyblue! I would not experience the magic to be a Santa Clause assistant without you! Merry Christmas!

Swap Reports: Secret Santa Christmas Swap

Media_httpdomosharcom_bxhuk
I mailed this week. It has to arrive in time. I did not send exactly what I wrote on the customs form, so my partner could be surprised not only by the look of the present, but by the content too. Each little item in the parcel is tissue wrapped so, my dear partner, you can open the envelope if you wish and will not see the gift. Oh, and it will not look exactly like the pile shown here. I hope my partner will like the secret present.

Swaps: How I am doing

I had the chance /and madness/ to enter several swaps that take place at the same time. Three of them! And a give away on mu blog at the same time...  I have completed one swap and the giveaway, but two more swaps have to be done pretty quickly. I have finally picked up the pattern for the Doll Quilt Swap yesterday evening! This is a huge step as I was very uncertain what would be the best choice for my partner's tastes. Hopefully I have guested something. At least I picked up a pattern I have wanted to make since I first saw it. So I will enjoy making it and this will result in a nice quilt. The Secret Santa Swap is a different story... I was about to start five times ... or more. But never felt the choice was really appropriate. Yesterday an unexpected idea hit me. So I will give it a try. I have almost no time left... I am really anxious to start cutting and making blocks, assembling tops, quilting and packing.... I have so many ideas and patterns listed already. However, I have to make the swap entries first. And they might not be two quilts. I wll not ruine the Secret Santa surprise by telling you what it will be!
