Spring Knitting

I have not knitted for awhile. Started knitting again few days ago. I continued knitting the Clapotis started few months ago. It is a lovely rich wool, spiced with tropical colours in the form of a cotton thread added. It works pretty quick and is pleasure to knit. Dropping works fine too. Even though the pure wool was supposed to cause some problems, it does not.

Spring by the Sea: Sakura Blossom

This picture was taken a week ago during a weekend walk. It was a beautiful Sakura, heavy with  blossom - big, heavy, pink flowers on the sakura alley here. The trees are relatively young  - less than 10 year since they made the little sakura alley. Each flower looks like ornament hanging on the tree and they all make it look so festive. And the trees in the alley...  them make me think of a garden party...

Spring in the Shop: Quilted Fabric Bread Basket

Media_httpdomosharcom_csaay
Spring crafting in the studio just a week before the beginning of spring, resulted in this little pile of bread baskets. I planned to make more and earlier to add in the shop way before Easter. Well, they are more spring, than Easter items, now. I love the brights ans pastels mixed together in a simple functional table accessory. Making more than one thing at a time makes creating even more rewarding. A pile of newly finished projects, even if it a mini pile of three, feels good. Palm Sunday is coming and I am busy with some preparation for it.
