Mini pile of fabrics – 3 floral prints and 3 solids.

These are the fabrics for my Monday project. I think I showed at least part of them. However they look so lovely paired this way.

Sewing for spring feels great even before I have started it.

These are Bulgarian, Turkish and Pakistan fabrics. Each has its own texture and I am anxious to sew them up together.

Sunday Stash
ОК I know it – I am crazy for all colours – vivid, cheerful and sunny. The more colour, the better. I am going through colour phases… or I used go through them. Including changing my whole wardrobe. Slowly! I would not afford it otherwise as it started when I was in school LOL. I had no idea actually but I noticed that every 1, 5-2 years my wardrobe changes its colour. Gradually and unintendedly… Well, I might have needed some energy vibration. I am likely to take it this way now. As I am growing LOL, I am more liberate about colours and I love fresh shouting colours as well as aristocratic soft ones, with lots of nuances and really low colour volume. Have you gone through colour phases too?

Back to the fabrics! There are the ones that just shouted “Buy me! Buy me!” when I went to buy absolutely different fabrics last week. Pure cotton, soft and delicate but in strong colours and some even delicate ones in pale delicate colours. All Bulgarian cooton too. So they made it to my tote. I love how they look together and I have some other fabrics to make them good company in a future project.

Back to Christmas sewing now! I am trying to make my etsy shop active after the summer lazy months I was busy with vacation activities for my little pupil.

Oh, and I have a new tote, I will show you soon – the one fabrics jumped in! LOL

Sunday Stash #16: For Christmas Sunday Stash
Bought last week. Some of them have already been cut and one was project completed. It was given before pictures but I will make one more if I have the chance..

As we get closer to Christmas I tend to like more reds, checks, and Christmas-looking things. It is just a prove how much I love Christmas.

Sunday Stash - Fat quarters cornerSunday Stash
Here is the left corner of top shelf of my fabric stash cabinet.
It is almost full of fat quarters received in swaps. Some are fantastic, some are beautiful, some colourful, some legant – I like every single one of them and the fact someone picked them for me.
It is amazing how different and unknown people can feel what to send your way. And every little fabric piece has its history. Thank you for picking and sending them!

Most of them are still uncut. They were washed and ironed after their travel.
Moving my studio and the yearly vacation this summer made me sew less than usual but I am back in the studio and plan some projects with some of these lovely fabrics.

I love traditional modern prints. If you think that there is something like this. LOL
Bulgarian fabric market is quite limited. Maybe mostly due to the luck of organized quilting business machine here…

Seeing fabric and quilting heavens online sometimes makes a real shop visit painful. If you have no idea what you cannot get, it might be easier… My latest visit to my favorite shop was a happy one. I found this new print. All Bulgarian cotton and print. I bought some for a test and will soon get more. I love it. Especially the circles.

Sunday Stash #10: Orange flowers with Fuchsia Sunday Stash
I like the fuchsia and khaki touches a lot!

It seems I do not like the fabric /if you trust the picture – looks like not not beeing ironed…/. So please do not believe it at all! LOL

This piece is hanging on my fabric shelves as a curtain. It got twisted and removed and re folded too many times… I am not too sure it will stay there. I need to stitch it, if I decide to keep it there. It is bold and beautiful but my walls are not white… so more twisting and moving to come soon…maybe…

Sunday Stash
Have not bought fabrics for clothes for more than 2 years. Then I bought these flowers for a dress for myself …

Thought  it will be a simple one, but dreaming of another pattern now…

Sunday StashSunday Stash
A pile of oranges to become a end-of-school-year present sometime in the beginning of the vacation…

I sorted the oranges, I happened to have at the moment, and chose these. I had no chance to cut them as I was too busy knitting and moving furniture around.

All fabrics are 100% Bulgarian cotton, all solids are medium weight cotton. The printed one is a thicker cotton.

Sunday Stash 6 - DragonsSunday Stash
This is one of my favorite kid fabrics! It is fresh and clean, lots of white, some fresh green and cheerful orange make it the perfect fabric in my opinion!

It is Bulgarian fabric. Pure cotton, medium weight – can be used for cloths or quilts, but will make bedding projects sing too.

I like the cuteness and the simple style of it.
